Assessment for Learning
- A range of assessment strategies, including effective marking, which provide regular feedback to students

Learning Resources
- All students having easy access to a variety of appropriate and relevant learning resources
- Students have access to a variety of learning resources (texts, artifacts, ICT, multi-media, Internet)
- Resources are audited annually to ensure that they are up to date, relevant and meet the needs of English Language students studying at St Andrew's College Summer Schools.
- Academic staff will be encouraged to recommend, share and utilize and evaluate new resources that they believe may enhance the delivery of the English Language curriculum.
A Whole Summer School Approach
The planned involvement of Activity staff in organising cultural trips, delivering a series of activities that encourage students to use and develop their English language skills in writing, reading, talking and listening
