The Campus
The Canterbury Chirst Church University campus is located in the city centre of Canterbury, not far from the well known Canterbury Cathedral.
Onsite facilities include classrooms, a cafe, a spacious canteen and picturesque squares with ponds. The main campus is the hub of the summer school, including teaching and staff office facilities.
The Location
Canterbury is a beautiful city, and UNESCO World Heritage site, due to the many historical sites that can be seen. It’s streets were visited by many pilgrims, making it a popular tourist destination.
Around and about
The campus is located in Canterbury’s city centre. There are shops including supermarkets and cafes within a few minutes’ walk of both the accommodation and the main campus, and the high street is located just a couple of hundred metres away.
Travel and Transport
All journeys on the student excursion programme will be by private coach, apart from the days in Canterbury where the city is on the doorstep.
The Accommodation
The Petros Court student accommodation is a short distance away from campus, around a 15-minute walk. This can be an exciting experience as students will frequently get a feel for life in the city.
The students will live in flats with around 6 en-suite single bedrooms and a shared kitchen/common area in each flat. The flats are furnished to a high standard and there is access to student Wi-Fi.
The safety of our students is very important. Petros Court has a 24-hour security presence, CCTV, and secure access entry systems.
