The University of Glasgow provides the perfect setting, combining historic, world-renowned architecture with modern learning facilities. The University of Glasgow is located in the West End of the city, centred around the iconic Gilmorehill campus. The area is known for its vibrant student community, historic architecture, and cultural attractions such as the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, which are just a short walk away. The campus is also surrounded by green spaces, including Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens.

Travel and Transport


The West End is well connected to the rest of Glasgow. The subway system has two nearby stations—Hillhead and Kelvinhall—providing quick access to the city centre in under 10 minutes. Numerous bus routes also serve the area, and the city centre is within walking or cycling distance. Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations connect the city with the rest of Scotland and the UK.

The Accommodation

The accommodation is situated at Kelvinhaugh Gate, which is off-site and a 15-minute walk from the main building.

Students will live in modern flats housing 4 to 6 people, with single en-suite bedrooms and a communal kitchen/common area, with access to a fridge and freezer

The safety of our students is always a top priority. The University of Glasgow maintains a 24-hour security presence, CCTV, and secure access entry systems.
