The Campus

The Campus

The Avery Hill Campus, Southwood Site, offers a green environment in the lovely Avery Hill Park in Eltham, south-east London.

The campus has some excellent teaching, living and sporting facilities. It is a compact campus, with all of its living, teaching and canteen facilities within close proximity of each other.

The Southwood Site has a general shop, cafe and a launderette, tennis courts, and a large park for touch rugby, football and rounders. ‘The Dome’ in the centre of the complex, houses the food hall.

Around and about

The nearest town is Eltham, which has lots of places to shop and eat. Very close the campus is Eltham Palace: King Henry VIII’s 1305 childhood home. English Championship football is also played nearby at the home of Charlton Athletic Football Club. The team, however, train directly adjacent to the Avery Hill campus.

Travel and Transport

All journeys on the student excursion programme will be by private coach.

Accommodation

The Accommodation

The student accommodation is on campus, this can be an exciting experience and a great way to meet new people and make friends.

The students will live in small flats with 5/6 en-suite single bedrooms and a shared kitchen/eating area. The flats are furnished to a high standard and there is access to student Wi-Fi.

Student safety is very important to us. Avery Hill has a 24hr security presence and CCTV onsite.
