Manchester Metropolitan University
Manchester, one of the UK's largest cities, is located in the North of England. It is a city well-known for its industrial past, but it has become a modern city. Nearby to Liverpool, the university is ideal for discovering Manchester, as well as the rest of the North of England.
The Brooks Building, where most of the summer school will be hosted, is very close to the centre of town, meaning there are endless possibilities for exploring the town centre, local cafes and museums.
The Campus
Very close to the centre of town, the Brooks Building is a state-of-the-art facility which has classrooms, canteen, activity and sports spaces and a cafe within. The building is very attractive and located nearby to the main university campus.

Students may walk to local shops on foot, around a 2-minute walk away.
Other journeys on the student excursion programme will be by private coach.
