Academic Programme
Our Junior Vacation courses are for young people aged between 9 and 17. You will have 15 hours of English lessons with native teachers each week in a class of up to 15 students. There are 5 levels of English, Elementary - Advanced (CEFR A2-C2) and you will have a placement test on arrival.
Your lessons will be taught by qualified English language teachers who are experienced, very friendly and enthusiastic.
In class you will:
• practise speaking, reading, listening and writing
• build vocabulary and practise use of English using games, guided worksheets and class projects
• develop confidence in using functional language through group and pair work
• learn in a modern environment through the use of images and video in multimedia ready classrooms
• learn through current topics that relate to young people
• learn the places you will visit
Excursions & Activities
We have a fully comprehensive excursions and activity programme for you to enjoy learning English in a participative way. You will enjoy
full day and half day excursions to places of natural beauty and interest. You will also have the opportunity to have walks and visits to explore local areas and attractions.
You will be able to get involved in our day activities whatever your interests are. Each day you will have the opportunity to choose from 6 different activities, these include; volleyball, basketball, dodgeball, tennis, badminton, rugby, rounders, drama, musical theatre, Zumba, aerobics, yoga, orienteering, nail art, sketching, mask making, jewellery making, conversation workshops, print workshops, dance workshops and French boules.
In the evenings, you will have fun in our discos, karaokes, scavenger hunts, bingos, film nights, blind dates, fancy dress competitions, murder mysteries, ceilidhs, talent shows, highland games and much more!
