St Andrew’s College commitment
As an accredited school, we are committed to ensuring our quality standards are met and that each and every student enjoys their stay and studies with us. To ensure that you enjoy a quality learning environment, we have a maximum class size of 18 students per class. This ensures that you receive personal attention from your teacher and maximise your learning opportunities.
Accreditation guarantees quality
Accreditation UK monitors and improves standards of management, teaching, resources, welfare and care of under 18s in UK English language teaching (ELT). Accredited centres must have:
- appropriately qualified teachers
- teaching which meets the Scheme requirements
- effective safeguarding and supervision of under 18s
- safe premises, with properly equipped classrooms and areas for relaxation
- brochures and publicity materials which accurately reflect what is provided
- proper emergency procedures, known to staff and students.
Accommodation is regularly inspected and must meet Scheme standards. See section 2.2 of the Accreditation UK Handbook 2016-17 for the full list of what is checked during the inspection process.
The same standards are applied in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
