Edinburgh is a city renowned for its beauty and history. It is the home of many scientific, artistic and cultural influences and has been described as “the most beautiful of all Europe’s capitals”.
Originally a medieval Cistercian monastery, Newbattle Abbey College has a 900-year old history of welcoming royalty and hosting guests. This ‘A’- listed building, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, is located on the river Esk and is surrounded by 125 acres of beautiful parkland. Ancient rooms are coupled with first-class learning facilities, allowing students to enjoy a unique learning experience.
The student accommodation is on campus; this can be an exciting experience and a great way to meet new people and make friends.
The students will live in the on-site accommodation blocks with a mixture of bedroom types available: single ensuite, twins and triples. There are shared kitchen/common areas too. The flats are furnished to a high standard and there is access to student Wi-Fi.
The safety of our students is always very important. The college has CCTV, secure access entry systems and St. Andrew's College staff are contactable 24/7.
All journeys on the student excursion programme will be by private coach.
